Renkum Stud was founded in 1978 with the arrival in the UK of Henk Minderman and his stallion Renkum Hill. Ever since, the number and the quality of ‘Renkum’ horses increased, providing several successful studs in the UK and Ireland with breeding stock and riders with some very nice competition horses.
Renkum Arturo set the trend during the eighties through his approved sons Farrington Spondulicks, Merlin and the Elite Champion Renkum Englishman who went on to become the first British bred warmblood stallion to gain full approval with the Irish Horse Board. In fact he sired 2 horses which represented Ireland during the 2001 World Championships for Young Show Jumpers. Englishman now stands at stud in Warwickshire.
